~Meet the Photographers~

Rebecca Trumbull

This is Me

Putting a Face with the Name. Owner/Lead Photographer.

My Family

My husband, our son & two fluffs, Beatrice & Titan.

How did Rebecca get here? Initially while attending school, she was pursuing videography and film making. She graduated in 2012 with a BS in Communications. For some reason, though she loved video production, she was not fully satisfied in a creative way. She has realized that she is an artist who likes a box. She enjoys limitations so that she can be challenged to new creative levels despite restrictions.

So, what is more restricting than video? Still photos of course! She found herself loving the challenge of telling a whole story in a single, still frame. How could anyone possibly see the nature of a person, the trill of an event, the heart of a pet in one single image? But that is her goal. That is her challenge. That is what she loves about photographing all things worth remembering.

Rebecca has taken classes and spent many hours behind the lens in order to master these skills. She has taken every opportunity to learn how to run a business and create the best experience for her clients.

Rebecca is extremely sentimental. She loves symbols and physical reminders of things that are important. Rebecca is a strong advocate of photography because our loved ones will not be with us forever. Photos are a way to keep close, preserve and ultimately leave a piece of ourselves to the next generation. She wants to make sure we all have those memories recorded for ourselves, and for the future.

Rebecca lives in Toledo, Ohio with her husband, baby boy and two rescue mutts, Beatrice and Titan. Rebecca offers her photography services to Toledo, Bowling Green, and the Northwest Ohio area.

Rebecca enjoys volunteering with Planned Pethood Inc. to photograph and help find forever homes for their rescue dogs in her free time.

Rebecca came to our home well prepared. She was patient with the dogs and as a result, got some great shots. Highly recommend her talents and skills, not just with animals, but people too!

Pepper

Jessica and her pup, Pepper.

Jessica has always had a love of art. She took ten years of art classes, from elementary through high school, learning a variety of techniques and mediums. “Photography, to me, always seemed like another form of art.” She loved to dabble by taking pictures of pets and nature on her phone. When Rebecca asked if she wanted to make a little money by assisting her, Jessica was quick to say yes. Since 2014, Jessica has put in the hard work of carrying heavy equipment and lighting, corralling dogs and children, and learning the ins and outs of photography both in front of and behind the lens.

Jessica earned two Associate Degrees in Agriculture, one from Monroe County Community College and the other from Michigan State University. Her love of the outdoors is part of what she loves about photography. “The best part is the variety. We are always photographing new people in unique and beautiful places.”

The biggest challenge for Jessica has been getting outside her comfort zone and learning to work with clients by giving directions to help them create meaningful, lasting photo memories. It was when she was assisting Rebecca at one of her first weddings that Jessica realized how meaningful it was to be helping people document the important moments in their lives. Whether it is a young couple saying their vows, a family recording a moment in time or a pet owner having lasting prints of their senior dog, Jessica knows how important these images can be. “I love the idea of saving these moments for people.”

When Jessica is not working, she loves to go to the park with her dog, Pepper and spend time in nature and gardening.

Jessica presented as very sweet and kind, open to using many different locations and backgrounds. She was conscientious about lighting due to photos being taken outdoors. Jessica was prompt and helpful with her suggestions for posing on camera.
