Graduating high school is one of the first great milestones in many people's lives. What do I believe about every milestone? It should be documented! Someday you might show your children, or even grandchildren, those yearbook photos, that bad student ID picture, and the prom dress that was totally "in". (Then they will ask how you could ever let someone give you that haircut). Senior portraits are one of the many keepsakes you will collect throughout your life that will tell your story. I want to help you preserve a piece of who you are right now. Your joy, your youth, your beauty, your dreams, your fire, your heart. Long after your friends and family members have left your party with wallet size images of your face, these portraits will remind you who you were, who you are and where you are going. I want to tell your story. I want to tell the story of who you are right now so that who you become can always remember.

In telling your story, I not only want to consider the future, but I would ask you to explore your past. Seniors are encouraged to bring a token or keepsake to their session. An item that is significant in their lives. Perhaps a locket from grandma, a book from a teacher, a ticket from the first rock concert... A symbol of something that has made you who you are. What is important to you? What has impacted your life? What piece of your history will you never forget? Every senior has many unique elements that make up the whole of who they are. My goal, as your portrait photographer, is to help you use those elements to tell your story. Every senior is welcome to be exactly who they are, not who they think they are supposed to be. I encourage genuine interaction with the camera so that you never feel "stiff" or "posed". As you ponder your past and dream about the future, I can help you tell your story now.
