When I began organizing my first group photo shoot, I planned to invite a variety of models to join us. The main goal for the event was to give each of the photographers an opportunity for practice and an environment in which to be creative. It is so easy, as a business owner, to become caught up in the "work" and forget the "art" that initially drew us to our profession. I decided to facilitate this day to return to the art without the pressure and restrictions that sometimes accompany a paid session.
Meet Brynne! Brynne is currently a student at Bowling Green State University. I had invited her roommate, Nicole, to join us at the group shoot. Nicole is a local Toledo model with a very nice portfolio. She decided to invite Brynne to join us at the last minute and we were happy to have her!
The first thing Brynne told me was that she had never modeled before. But look at these photos! You would never guess she is brand new. Her outfit choice was spot, on and after just a little coaching, she really got into it. I did my best to make Brynne feel comfortable by giving her clear directions, and by making her laugh.
I am very pleased with how Brynne's headshots turned out. She is truly beautiful and was so much fun to work with!
