Toledo Ohio Wedding. Wildwood Metropark. Parkway Place.
Last summer, Nick and Lexie wanted a party for their wedding and that is exactly what they got. As a second shooter for JH Photography I had the fun of hanging with the guys, before the ceremony. Nick had eleven groomsmen, and as you can imagine they were a fun bunch, ready to have a great time celebrating. It was inspirational to see how many men were supporting Nick on his wedding day.
The ceremony was held outside at Wildwood Metropark in Ottawa Hills. One of the groomsmen, not only stood with Nick, but officiated the ceremony. After the service was over, we shot family portraits at the park, then headed to Fallen Timbers shopping center for more pictures with the wedding party.
Parkway Place in Maumee hosted the reception where the bride had handmade many of the decorative pieces. The cake cutting was, perhaps, the most exciting part of the evening. Frosting ended up in the groom's ears and down the bride's dress. My favorite part of the evening, was seeing how sentimental Nick and Lexie were during their first dance. Many tears were shed.
The night ended with sunset portraits, lots of dancing and a sparkler send off. It was a beautiful wedding day and the perfect party for Nick and Lexie. I hope you enjoy seeing their special day from my perspective. Be sure to pin and share your favorites.
