1. Margaret Ann

She is an 18 years young Shih Tzu. I fostered Margie after she was abandoned at LC4 four years ago. The foster quickly turned into a foster failure and we adopted her as soon as she was ready. She lost her vision soon after due to untreated eye issues. She didn’t skip a beat! She’s spunky & sassy, loves borking at other dogs, eating ice cream, and cuddling with her mom.

2. Wilma

This is my baby girl Wilma. She will be 1 on Valentines Day she is a mini schnauzer. She is the sweetest little girl she loves everyone and enjoys lots of cuddles.

3. Biscuit

8 year old shih tzu. Her favorite activities are begging for treats from every single person she meets and rolling around on our mattress and snorting while we try to change the sheets. She also enjoys visiting her Auntie Ericka's plant shop so she can run around like she owns the place and rub her face on every single carpet in the whole store.

4. Brody

He is a 6 year old German shepherd/Husky/Great Pyrenees mix, so he has a very strong personality! Brody was our first dog that we adopted through rescue, and with his help we have been able to foster 17 dogs since. He is the best foster brother and helps me train all the foster dogs!

5. Leroy

Leroy, American Pitbull terrier. He just turned 12 years old! He is the bestest boy to all of our foster dogs. He is used as a pillow or heater for most of the dogs that come into our home. He LOVES people and tolerates his mom's shenanigans of dressing him up for the cold weather.

6. Koko

We just rescued Koko recently after our beloved Odie passed away unexpectedly. Koko has helped our family navigate through the grief. Our 13 year old needed a new buddy as Odie was her best friend and always at her side. Koko is about 8-9 months and her breed is unknown. We are awaiting the results of a dna swab, so let the guessing begin! Koko is the sweetest girl and we are lucky to have her in our family!

7. Simco

Almost 1 year! She is primarily Rottweiler with some pit mix. Simcoe demands we pay her “ice tax” anytime we get a drink.

8. Roman

This is Roman, our rescue Goldendoodle. He had ear infections, eye infections, 3 types of worms and he was underweight when I rescued him at 8 months old. He was not strong enough to even jump up on a couch. I got him treated with antibiotics several times and he's gained weight and is healthy and happy. He is my shadow dog and is so sweet and gentle with my kids. The most affectionate, loving dog ever. He's now 3 years old.

9. Lola

This is Lola! Shes a 3 year old Corgi and FULL of personality. She loves attention from anyone and smothers them with kisses. When she reaaaallly wants something she “sits pretty” and balances on her butt.

10. Rikku

Her mom was a Siberian Husky and her dad was a Golden Retriever. She has two different ears and two different eyes. Before her second birthday, she got meningitis and almost didn't make it, but an emergency vet (and my neurotic dog-mom-craziness knowing something was wrong early enough) managed to save her. Her vet wasn't sure she would survive to 3, but here she is still loving life! She has a toy that she's had since she was a puppy that she still loves playing with, and her favorite thing to do is snuggle and get pets.

11. Chili

Australian Kelpie/German Shepherd mix; our household best friend. He is the best snuggler, and best boy. We fostered him and his brother and immediately fell in love with his “chill” behavior. Hence why we named him Chili. He will be 1 this month and we have had him since he was 5 weeks old. Couldn’t imagine our lives without him.

12. Kimber

My name is Kimber. I am a 2 year old Great Pyrenees/pitbull mix. ‘She is a great mix of both! Typically gentle, calm, and affectionate, she loves all dogs, kids, and babies. She is protective, and sometimes independent too.” I love a frisbee & summer life on the boat.

13. Yeti

1 year old Boston Terror. His likes are snuggling, snoring, and hiding things in his crate. His dislikes are anybody not doing what he says including his 70 pound big brother.

14. Kaiser

He is a shitzu poodle mix and will turn 16 in April. He still has the energy of a puppy by digging into the couch cushions and blankets to make a bed for himself. Kaiser can act like a grumpy old man sometimes by making loud groans out of nowhere when he’s lying around.

15. Teeter

Hi I’m Teeter or Teeter Tot! I’m a rescued beagle! I’m about 4 years old and came to my furever home on Mother’s Day! I live with 4 husky wolf hybrids and I know I’m the big honcho around there! I love toys that are bigger than me and I love my momma! (Shes not biased even though she’s writing the post). I talk a big game with my siblings and I love barking. I’ve learned the sound of the ring camera noise and when it goes off I have a field day!

16. Mitzi

Meet Mitzi, the 8-year-old Shih Tzu who's officially a certified sweet little baby with a personality larger than life! With her fluffy coat, big soulful eyes, and adorable rice teeth (or toofs, as we fondly call them) peeking out when she smiles, she has perfected the art of melting hearts. Mitzi is a playful pup who believes every day is a chance for a new adventure, especially if it involves her beloved Lambchop toys, which she treats like royalty. When she's not busy staging battles with her plush pals or plotting her next snack heist, you can catch her napping in the sun or striking a pose, flaunting those cute toofs that leave everyone giggling. Life with Mitzi is like a never-ending comedy show, filled with fluff, fun, and a dash of mischief, ensuring that every moment is a delightful mix of sass and sweetness!

17. Tracker

7 year old mix! He has such a kind, goofy, loving soul. He loves to play fetch, nibble on stuffies, laying in shallow pools, bully sticks. He was born at our house in 2017 by our foster and we fell in love with him. He has many nicknames, cheesey being the main one because when he was little he stole a box of cheese its and was walking around with the box on his head. We just love him. 51% Australian Cattle Dog. 12% Chow Chow. 11% German Shepherd Dog. 5% Rottweiler. 3% Siberian Husky.

18. Amka

The sassiest princess around! This three-year-old Siberian Husky and Cattle Dog mix has only gotten better with age since we adopted her at seven weeks old. She’s got the best aroo’s and is a quick learner who masters new tricks in no time—including her adorable selfie pose. Amka is a great adventure buddy who loves trips to the park, our volleyball games, and anywhere with other dogs.

Her love for canine companionship led us to adopt her little brother, Phoenix, a husky puppy she’s been busy teaching the ropes—how to be a dog, what toys are, and the all-important house rules. The two are inseparable, spending their days wrestling, exploring, and taking turns finding the biggest stick in the backyard.

19. Hazelnut

She's a 12 year old yorkie mix with the prettiest gold fur. Our little lady has been through a lot recently, including lots of medical testing, a back injury, and a face infection. She has small cell lymphoma and just started chemo last week. Even with every health issue or injury she's been through (even once getting into a street fight with a raccoon she chased under a car, ending up with a staple in her face!) she remains spunky, opiniated, and loving. She's a wonderful big sister to our other two dogs and daughter, Ellie. Hazel is my best friend in the world. With big, gorgeous brown eyes and long eyelashes, and a little nubbin where one of her back feet would be, Hazel is unique and gorgeous. We love her so.

20. Ty

This is Typhoid Mary Mallon the Cat - we call her Ty for short. She's a 3 year old diluted tortie and a whopping 7 pounds. When I picked her up she was miniscule and sickly, suffering from an infection and barely eating. With some love and care we nursed her to health and, though still small, walks around like the whole world owes her a favor. She's pretty and she knows it, loves belly rubs, and unfortunately has learned how to open doors and cabinets, forcing us to find creative new ways to hide treats. When she was a kitten she made friends with rats that we had in our house, and when the rats passed away she spent days sleeping next to or on top of their cage in mourning. She has a huge heart, but don't tell anyone - it would ruin her street cred.

21. Izzy

Also known as Izzy Marie, Isabella (*to be said with an Italian accent, of course), or “The Girl”. She is an 8-year-old Australian Shepherd, who gives a lot of love and a lot of attitude! Izzy loves playing frisbee, eating carrots, and going on boat rides!

22. Tim

He’s a 4 year old Dudley Lab. My daughter wanted to train him as a service dog but he got asked to leave puppy training because he was too disruptive to the classes because he just wanted to play the whole time! He’s come a long way since then but he’s still a bit ornery! His favorite thing to do is to pick up sticks (or logs) at wildwood and move them around the park!

23. Fred

I am a cheweenie, or at least that’s what my vet thinks! I am approximately 8 years young. I was rescued by dogworks and adopted by my family. I have two Siamese brother cats who annoy me endlessly when they try to give me gross cat kisses. I love going on walks in the park strolling next to my humans. One of my favorite activities is hoping from stone to stone on our pathway when we return home. I especially love to nap in one of my many dog beds during the day.
