The FLUFF-uary giveaway is here for the fourth year in a row!
Rebecca Trumbull Photography specializes in documenting furry loved ones. This Toledo photographer believes that all life is important and should be celebrated. While lamenting the long, cold, drab winters we get in northwest Ohio, I decided to come up with a February theme that would help to break the monotony of the season. I felt that a month all about animals was the way to go. Fluff-uary is not just about furry friends like dogs and cats, I happily celebrate all creatures that enrich our lives and give us companionship.
What about the givaway?
All entrants were required to post their pet with a brief bio on our Facebook page. Now how do they win? You get to be involved in choosing the winner! Read through this article and pick your favorite entry. Fill out the form at the bottom with your choice's number to cast your vote! Entrant with the most votes wins! Choose the cutest, the funniest, the sweetest or maybe the pet you know. Be sure to visit each day through February 19th to vote for your favorite Toledo pets.
Voting is open from February 12-19, one vote per person per day.
1. Jupiter
Meet my baby girl Jupiter!! She’s a chocolate lab/husky mix! Only 4.5 months old, but so smart and full of love She loves fetch, swimming, and posing for photos for mom!
2. Nigel
Nigel aka Moo he's 13! English Setter and a rescue! You met my sweet boy! He tries my Jupmode shirts on first and loves to model them
3. Thurston Howell
This is Thurston Howell. He is 6 yrs old. He likes short walks on the beach. He prefers bigger older women of German decent. He is currently single. Loves his sister (rescue Tabby cat) and his mom. He enjoys Chicken and Beef. Prefers not getting his boots with the fur wet. Takes the occasional sedative.
4. Dash
Dash, the pup who lived. Only survivor from a litter of 8. Born premature, he’s a little fighter. He has a permanent spinal injury but he doesn’t care. He’s a little feisty pants that will lay down on top of the other dogs if they are in the way of his snuggles with his mama. He’s an 8 month old boxer mix.
5. Tater
My name is Tater, I just turned 8 months old and I'm into everything! I'm a Blue Heeler and I was rescued at 10 weeks. I love being wherever my mom or dad is, and I love to pick on my fur siblings. I'm not liking this cold weather but I'd still rather be outside. I'm the typical working dog, I go to work with my dad, I chase the steers and play with the donkey and pony. My mom will tell you I'm worse than a toddler, because I get all my toys out as soon as she picks them up.
6. Kruz Kelly
Kruz Kelly is 4 years old and an only child! He’s a rescue and shows me his appreciation every day! His mommy is a Westie and his foster mom says his daddy is most likely a chihuahua. So, we say he’s a “Chestie”. He dislikes winter and stays cuddled in his blankie or lies in the sunshine. He completes my world.
7. Beauregard
This is Beauregard of House Chuhy, Prince of Goddard. Better known as Beau. He is 3 years old and a rescue. He is a Saint Bernard. He has cerebellar hypoplasia but it doesn't slow him down! He is the sweetest gentle dog.
8. Lucy
Meet Lucy, American Cocker Spaniel. Lucy is 7. Lucy loves her ball and chasing squirrels. She’s a very happy and cheerful gal!
9. Sophie
This is Sophie! She’s my 9 year old Doberman (will be 10 in March). Sophie is a go getter. She knows what she wants and won’t stop till she gets it. Whether it’s playing Frisbee in the pouring rain or fetching the ball in negative weather. She has such a big heart and is always looking out for her siblings - Max and Roxy. She was also a canine blood donor for 3 years and even helped save a German Shepherd‘s life. I just love this gentle girl.
10. Piper
Fetching as always. Piper is a 5 year old Whippet fun of energy and sass. Loves Dunkin' puppuccinos and being the center of attention at all times.
