Kaylee and I met at a networking event over a year ago. She was so excited to meet me and said they needed family photos ASAP. Our first family session together ended up being on a blizzard day in December 2016. Those snowy family portraits might possibly be some of the most iconic collections of photos I have in my portfolio.

Last fall we got the Barfell family out for a session on a day free from natural elements. The weather was great, the light was lovely, and their outfits were perfectly coordinated. Kaylee has such a good eye for color combinations and print pairing! We visited Wintergarden Park in Bowling Green. This is one of my favorite places to shoot in Northwest Ohio!

Bryan and Kaylee brought together their two individual family units when they got married two years ago. Merging two families with separate routines already established cannot be the easiest task. But Bryan and Kaylee truly adore their children and work incredibly hard to provide them with love, stability and every opportunity to succeed. It was wonderful to see them all laugh and interact together!

One of my favorite things about working with families is that I get to see the diversity of what family looks like for each one of my clients. For some, family is just two. For others, family is furry. Some have big families, small families, blended families, single parent families. Some are family by blood, some family by choice. I enjoy celebrating all types of family!
