More dogs? Obviously, you have come to the right place. Being a Toledo photographer specializing in pet portraits means that I share a lot of fluff featuring photos. (Say that ten times fast.) Chris was a last minute sign up for my September session special. I could not be happier that we got the schedule worked out so he and Braxton could get a few special photos together.

These two were dressed in their best fall plaid, looking very handsome. Braxton greeted me like a puppy despite his adult age of five. He was sweet and energetic. Chris had a bag of baby carrots to use as a reward for good behavior. Braxton was ready to do anything for one of those orange treats. I love documenting the relationship between a person and their pet. Braxton looks at Chris like he is the coolest guy in the world. Dog photography can be challenging, but Braxton was a wonderful subject. I am so lucky to work with such wonderful Toledo area dogs.

Get to know Chris and Braxton:

What made you want a dog? Growing up I was never allowed to have a dog. I would always play and walk my friends dogs so when I finally had my own place it was a no brainer. Also dogs are just the best. Greatest decision I ever made.
Where did you get him? How old was he when you brought him home? I bought him from a pastor and his wife, in Archbold. He was 6 weeks old when I picked him up.
How did you choose his name? I've always been a bit of an Ohio State fan, and Braxton Miller was the quarter back at the time, and Urban Meyer the coach, so Braxton Meyer just made sense.
How old is he now? He's 5 now with a cool birthday of 11/12/13.
What three words would you use to describe his personality? Joyful, clever, and loving.
What is his favorite toy? He has this fabric snake that he's destroyed, but has to take it wherever he goes.
What do you enjoy doing together? There are so many things I love doing with Braxton. Everything from playing hide and seek in the house, to going on road trips together.
Any additional cute facts? Braxton is the biggest baby in the world. He also has his favorite people. You know you're one of them if he starts squealing when he sees you.
