Noah. Professional Headshots. Toledo Commercial Photography.

It might be the perfect time to refresh your professional image. As the world attempts to return to some normalcy, it will be important for professionals to show their faces and remind their clients that they look forward to their return business. A headshot can spruce up your LinkedIn profile, add personality to your website and become a face for your social media.

Meet Noah:

  • What do you do, or hope to be doing long term? Currently, I am in the process of moving to Denver to pursue a career in IT sales. While in college, my studies were primarily focused on advertising and marketing, but I grew an interest for sales from taking a short-term job after college. I really enjoy working in fast paced and competitive environments.

I'm not sure what I'd like to do long term. I love writing, photography, comedy and being outdoors. I have tons of things I am interested in, but no true passion that I feel a calling to. Hopefully, through my personal journey, I can discover that.

  • Why do you love what you are/want to be doing? One aspect of sales that excites me is the competition. Not only does this motivate me to become a top performer, but I can be compensated fairly for the results that I create. I value being able to communicate with people all day, and to always be doing something different. Meeting new people every day and getting to learn from every experience is something that a job in sales can provide.

  • What is your education/experience background that has lead you to where you are now? My degree title is advertising and public relations, but I graduated from Ohio University's journalism program. There, I learned how to communicate ideas effectively, create stories, but also learned the ins and outs of working for an advertising agency or public relations firm. I'm a recent graduate, so my career hasn't spanned much further than my experiences in college, but my job in sales has created my interest for a different type of career.

At my current position, I'm responsible for training, developing and managing sales agents at a call center. I am directly involved in the hiring process and am an important team member to coach agents directly. I enjoy seeing people improve and gain confidence. There's no better feeling for me than seeing someone come to work with enthusiasm and confidence!

  • Is there a piece of professional advice you received that has stuck with you on your career journey? Every call counts. Every day counts.

It's easy to allow negative experiences and failures to discourage you, especially early in your career. However, we can learn from every experience and grow. I believe that failure is essential. I don't fear failure for this reason - I'm actually motivated by it.

  • What value do you see in having professional headshots? We are in an age of social media. Gone are the days of filling out paper applications, making phone calls to potential employers and asking for word-of-mouth recommendations. LinkedIn is an essential and under-utilized tool that can literally get you a massive competitive edge. For this reason, I want to have a profile that stands out. I don't want a profile picture in a hoodie with my front facing camera standing in my bedroom. I want to be wearing a clean suit with a well groomed look and a confident smile. Recruiters form their opinions very quickly, and nothing looks better than a professional headshot.

Having a strong headshot has made me feel so much more confident when I communicate with professionals online.

  • What stood out to you about your experience with Rebecca? Rebecca was not only friendly, but extremely professional. She was able to give me a very large collection of final photos, and I loved all of them. She asked me how I liked to pose and valued my opinions during the shoot. She was confident enough to control the shoot and to tell me what looked best while we had the session, which is something that I really appreciated. She is timely in communication, and I feel that my money was very well spent. I would recommend her services to anyone who needs photos, and that goes for any occasion!
