Isabella was one of the high school seniors that I photographed. You can see her senior portraits here. Bella also modeled for me in one of my creative projects, a which-themed Halloween photo shoot. She is a stunning woman and a real natural in front of the camera. When she found out she was expecting, Bella contacted me to plan her maternity photos. I was very excited to work with her again.

Not only did I get to work with Bella again, she asked to include her three-year-old family dog, Zula! Pet photography is my niche and I am always happy to accommodate clients who wish to include their dog in their photography sessions. Any breed, any size, any age. I love them all! Zula is the sweetest Rottweiler and what a stunning pair these two made! Bella shares about dog Zula, baby Gabriel, and being a mom:

What did you enjoy most and least about being pregnant? What I enjoyed most about being pregnant was feeling all the kicks and movements from Gabriel. I also enjoyed not having morning sickness. What I least enjoyed was not being able to do so much, my feet constantly hurting and I felt nauseous my first trimester.
What were you most excited about in regards to being a mother? I was nervous at first about being a mother, especially during a pandemic. After going to my Lamaze classes I felt prepared and ready to be a mom. I was really excited I was having a boy. I live with my parents so I have my mom there by my side and she helps me out 100%.
What is your baby’s name and how did you choose it? I named my son Gabriel and I chose that name because it is in the Bible and Gabriel was an ark angel.
What has surprised you most about becoming a mom? What surprised me the most about becoming a mom is how much I have grown and matured and realized that my life isn’t about me anymore. My son comes first no matter what 100%. I never realized how much love you can have for a child until you become a mom.
How old is Gabriel now? Gabriel is 2.5 months old now.
Why did you include your dog, Zula, in your photos? I included Zula in my maternity photos because she has been Gabriel’s protecter ever since I was pregnant! Zula loves to lay in his room and watch over him now. Whenever Gabriel cries, most of the time Zula will go and see what’s going on and make sure he’s okay.
What did you love most about your experience with Rebecca? What I love most about Rebecca is her personality and how caring and sweet of a person she is. She is very good at her job and she makes sure her guests are satisfied with their pictures.
