When I meet with a couple before their wedding to discuss the details of their day and their timeline, usually the tension is high. There are a million last minute things that need to be done, something has been forgotten, something makes the plans more complicated. The bride and groom are usually VERY ready for the wedding day to arrive and finally get to enjoy it. It is hard to get to know a couple through this type of meeting because we are mostly strategizing and setting up a check list.
So when do I get to see the true personalities of my couples? I see who they are in every detail of their day. Rebecca and Mark had so many beautiful and sentimental details in their wedding. The decor, food choices, attire, and venue all spoke to who these two are. My favorite part of the whole day had to be the reception. Mark and Rebecca really kicked back and enjoyed every minute of it. They danced and laughed. They enjoyed their guests company and made everyone feel welcome.

How did you meet? At Bowling Green Middle School, in Ms. Sockman’s eighth grade art class.
What is the favorite/best date you’ve been on together? Mini Golf. We keep all of our score cards.
Who proposed? How? Mark proposed in our living room right after opening the ring which he had just received in the mail. He couldn’t wait!
What three or four words describe the style or feeling you would like for your wedding? Classic, Chic, Organic, Floral.
