Pippin The Havanese. Sylvania Pet Portraits. Wildwood MetroPark.
FROM PHOTOGRAPHER REBECCA:
Last summer I had an inquiry from Tom about gifting his wife with a photoshoot for their dog. From my perspective, I would have been so happy to receive pictures with my dogs for my birthday! Brianna was extremely excited to have me document their puppy, Pippin. She told me he was photogenic. She told me he was a fabulous model. She did not lie!
Would you consider giving your loved one a photo session for their pet? I believe it is important to document all the things that are important to us and for many, that includes their animals.
About Pippin:
Where did you get him? How old was he when you brought him home? How old is he now? We got him from Havanese Treasures in Wauseon! He was 8 weeks old when he brought him home and now (at the time of the photos) he is almost 8 months!
How did you choose his name? Pippin is named after Pippin, the hobbit, from the Lord of the Rings trilogy. We chose his name because we are huge Lord of Rings fans and we just felt like it was perfect for him.
What 3 words would you use to describe his personality? Affectionate, playful, inquisitive.
What is his favorite toy or pastime? Pippin’s favorite past time is playing with his twin brother, Remy, who lives with Pippin’s grandpawrents. His favorite toy is a little stuffed fox that he has had since the day he came home.
What do the three of you enjoy doing together? We love going on walks together and sampling food (which is another one of Pippin’s favorite past times - he is a foodie!)
Why is it meaningful to have professional images of him and your family? Pippin is a loved member of our family and we want to be able to share with others how much he means to us. Professional images also mean so much to us so that we can always look back on Pippin as a puppy. They are pictures we can treasure forever!
What stood out to you about your experience with Rebecca? What stood out to us most about our experience with Rebecca was her love and passion for working with animals. She made all of us feel so comfortable, including Pippin. She was so kind and easy to work with and we couldn’t have chosen a better photographer to take photos of our special boy and our family.
All photos were taken at Wildwood Metropark in Toledo, Ohio by Photographer Rebecca.
