Dana's Professional Headshots. Toledo Attorney Branding Photos.
From Jessica:
I got to do some updated headshots for Dana for a law publication she was being featured in. Dana wanted something a bit more modern than the usual cookie cutter corporate headshots. Modern headshots can allow the subject to show off more personality and give the viewer some context. This type of headshot is great for helping clients and readers to get to know more about yourself. Less traditional headshots can be outdoors, in a studio, in an office or even in a home; it just depends on what esthetic you want to portray. We can create a look that matches your brand.
About Dana:
Tell us about your personality, home life and hobbies. My wife, Andrea, and I were married this past June, between us we have 5 kids. When I’m not lawyer-ing or mom-ing, I enjoy playing roller derby. You can sometimes catch me skating with the Glass City Rollers under the name Notorious RBF.
What do you do professionally? What education has lead you to where you are? I’m an attorney working mostly in the area of insolvency litigation. I specialize in the investigation and prosecution of director and officer liability claims. This means I am often working with fiduciaries for bankrupt companies (receivers, trustees, assignees, etc.) to investigate whether there was any wrongdoing or mismanagement in the operations of the business before, during, or after, the time it was insolvent. If there was, we prosecute those claims to bring recoveries to the creditors of business, who otherwise might not receive any money from the bankrupt entity. I obtained my Bachelor’s degree at Eastern Michigan University, where I studied political science and journalism. I then attended the University of Toledo College of Law. I am licensed to practice in Ohio, Florida, and Texas; however I handle cases all over the country. I was recently named a partner at my firm, the first woman and first LGBTQ partner in its history.
Why do you love what you do? I love that it is true investigative work that benefits real victims.
Why are professional headshots important to you? They are the face you put out to the world, so you want them to be an honest reflection of how you look and how you present yourself to prospective clients and opposing counsel.
What stood out to you about your experience with Jessica? Jessica was very receptive to suggestions and requests. When I did not feel comfortable with a pose or setting, we moved on to something else.
